Description: From an extinct species of Mastodon Elephant. Both of these teeth caps are from the same animal and had fully erupted from the jaw and yet there is almost no wear on the teeth. Beautiful dentition even showing the tartar stuck between the cusps. Nice colorful enamel. The terminatal end of one of the caps was found broken, but the piece was recovered and reattched.

Provenance: Found in the Lower Withlacoochee Rivers in Florida - near Dunnellon by Gator Edwards. Levy Co. Florida
