Description: Beautiful flaked and polished Adze made of Dover Flint. The bit on both sides has a high reflective polish that comes from long use. These were wood working tools used to dig out canoes and similar uses. About half of the blade is ground along the edges to prevent cutting of the lashing. In the last picture you can see how these were hafted.
