~ Slithering Snake ~ Cypress Creek Point ~
Length: 3"
Grade: 8
Description: A remarkable natural feature on the surface creates the distinct appearance of a snake winding across the stone, giving the already attractive Cypress Creek Point an especially unusual character. The feature repeats on the opposite side, but looks like the snake has just eaten a big meal. The base material is a dark red chert.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission Clinch Co. Georgia near Fargo.
