Description: Boggy Branch Type 1 points are rare, and findng one that has been carefully polished to remove all flaking is even more uncommon. Such meticulous attention to detail is unusual and suggests a significant amount of effort was invested in this particular weapon. Clearly, this was a special and personal item for the native, crafted from patinated Coastal Plains Chert.
