~ Fantastic ~ Beautiful Orange & Blue ~ Gilchrist Co. Florida ~ Fluted Clovis ~
Length: 3 1/4"
Grade: 9.9
Description: This fantastic Fluted Clovis Spear Point was found over 63 years ago in the Santa Fe River by one of the first Scuba Divers to pear under the water. Larry Carney never fanned the bottom he just picked up what he saw, primarily Ice Age Fossil skeletons of Mastodon and Mammoth. Exceptional example with a color combination I rarely if ever see. Orange with a patch of light baby blue on the base.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission in 1962 by Larry Carney, Gilchrist Co. Florida. Santa Fe River Basin.
