Description: Shell Beads made from cut segments of the center column whorl of a Lightnng Welk Shell then each individual bead was hand drilled with a small flint drill.. This was made during the Mississippian Era 1300 -1500 AD. Patination leaves little doubt as to its authenticity.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission. Jackson Co. Alabama. Lake Guntersville basin foun in the early 1940's.
