Description: Wood working tool probably used to dig out canoes. Made from local Florida Chert. Nicely made. The last pictures shows 2 similar complete tools with wooden handles that were found in a cave in Texas showing how they may have been hafted.

Provenance: Found back in the 1960's on private property with permission in Citrus Co. Florida on John's Island Chassahowitzka River Basin. Found by Harold Gorgas.
