Description: This dainty Gorge hook was made from a small splinter of animal bone, sharpened on both ends and tied with fishing line in the middle. Baited on both ends, It was designed to lodge crosswise in a fish’s throat when swallowed — a smart and effective alternative to the curved hooks we use today. Rarely found relic.
