Description: Found metal detecting a Mid to Late 1700's Indian Village. Muskets were traded to the Indians for animal furs and this is a ammunition's pack or pouch which usually had 2 leather straps with buckles. This is one of the buckles. The rust has been completely removed and a coat of rust inhibitor has been applied. The buckle tongue still moves too. It is ready for display and will never rust again.
