Description: Anytime Paleo Points get over 4 inches long it should get your attention. These are the first stage points that were used in the hunt for big game animals. This one is made of blackened stained Coral with cream highlights. It is not translucent. Lateral grinding is present up 1 1/2" from the base. The base is ground as well. The flaking is classic Paleo. With large, bold, powerful percussion flakes removed forming a match line of collateral flaking that extends all the way across the blade from one edge to the other in multiple places. Near the base on one side is a huge crossover flake removal scar similar to what you see in the Suwannee Points. An impressive collectors grade Paleo.
