Classic Wacissa with Wonderful History

Description: Classic example of the Wacissa type. Made of colorful orange Coastal Plains Chert. Found by Dr. Jarl Malwin of Venice Florida in the early 1960's. His museum no. 17,865 is plainly written on one side near the base. The number 10 with a circle around it means this was the 10th example of a Wacissa that he found. Also, another mark is SR -3. That means it was found in the Santa Fe River Basin.
