Description: Beautiful rare Quartz Plummet. The material is not local and was probably traded in. There was a huge amount of trade conducted during this Woodland Era as the Hopewell groups from Ohio made long trips to Florida to secure shell. This is evidence of that trade. It comes with a Carlos Tatum paper and he grades it a G-10. Found near the west coast of Florida eroding from a shell midden.
