Description: Very nice large Newnan Spear made of dark cholate brown Chert with a light orange band crossing thru the blade on both sides. Very symmetrical and balanced. Well made and thin with random flaking creating the blade, followed by some fine pressure flaking along the blade edges. A collectors grade point.
Provenance: Found on private property with permission in Suwannee Co. Florida.
